Soul Therapy

By Neel Anil Panicker

The distant snow capped peaks, their edges a silvery peak, fine granules of snow glistening and scattering a kaleidoscopic melange of eye popping colours onto the lush green forests below even as the air around wafted with a redolence that was purely divine: all Divya could do was close her eyes and soak in the magnificence and munificence of Mother Nature.

‘Take to the hills; it will help heal your soul’: the words of her best friend Isha resonated in her ears.

“How true, my dear,’ whispered Divya as she heard her voice echo from beyond the far away ridges and rocky mountain tops, and  then she did the unthinkable, something she knew wouldn’t have ever dreampt of doing in the six years that she had been with Rishabh—she cried her lungs out  screaming, “You can’t hurt me ever now Rishabh ‘boz I have God on my side!”
