By Neel Anil Panicker

In one swoop, he had invaded her life and robbed it of all joy.
And by the time she realised so, she was already in the throes of a whirlwind romance that was inexorably heading southward, an outcome that would not just tear asunder her body and mind but also reduce to rubble her infantile heart.

‘Let go, feel the love…love is a paper boat whose trajectory is best left to the wind and the waters’—such and more poetical exhortations were his weapon, albeit couched in verbal finery that he so effectively and effortlessly unleashed to lay seige and traumatised her oh so innocent heart.

A victim of his sophistry, she fell big time for him—hook, line and sinker—making sure that she did her bit, disallowing all who tried to come in the way and hamper the progress of what she thought was ‘divine love.’

And soon enough tragedy struck  but by the time she realised it, the damage was done and irreversible—her ‘Prince in Shining Armour had galloped away, leaving her stranded on the highway—penniless, her heart a broken piano that cracked soulless tunes.
