As four year old Arzoo’s fingers left neat traces on the frosted glass, a wave of spasmodic fright ran through his mother’s spine.
She chased the expansive arc of her little one’s eyes.
Chocolate dipped in sauce, super cone; orange flavoured cup with sundae, vanilla scoops, mango swirl with creamy cherry toppins____Arzoo had it all skimmed and scanned, his tongue sticking out and licking ever moistening lips.
‘Gosh! he’s salivating’, wondered Simmi as she locked eyes with the apple of her eye.
Her sweetie pie gave her his best toothless smile.
She immediately melted.
It’s ice cream time, yet again.
