three line tales, week 201: a woman sitting on a Moscow subway platform

By Neel Anil Panicker

That’s me, on the metro tracks, legs flailing, head haughtily bent backwards, gazing into the bright as a June summer sun chrome dome glass facade, a cheery expectant smile playing on my lips, my ears ringing aloud with the buzz of the fast approaching metro.

Flirting with danger; a publicity stunt; cocking a snook at death; or merely readying up for the very last dizzying dazzling photo shoot of my life___hmmm…the jury is divided on this, right?

Come on guys, be quick,  guess fast; the train’s coming nearer and nearer; I can hear the clang of harsh wheels on hard metal…they’ re rattling my ear drums…come on, tell me fast, or…I might just throw up…I just might…
