It was her little secret. The one Alisha kept to herself. None were privy to this secret of hers expect, but of course, Lokesh.

Lokesh, the rakish guy with the damn care attitude. Add to that a six pack packed to the gills in that six foot tall frame that came fully loaded with a hugely naughty smile that cracked open those  heavily slit charcoal black eyes and what have you____a deadly twenty five year old male specimen that spelled DEADLY CHARM in capital letters.

Call it serendipity, but she had met him at her neighborhood photo copier shop.

It was ten in the evening when it struck her that she needed to submit her Final Year project report the following day.

She had grabbed a pen drive and rushed out of her room.

“Where are you rushing at this hour,”? her mother called from behind.

“Just coming, Mom,”  she had replied while closing the door behind her.

At times, she hated her Mom’s heightened state of anxiety and over protectiveness.

“Mom, for God’s sake, give me some space. I’m a grown up girl. A 20 year old woman, mind you,” she’d found herself countering everytime she felt mother’s overarching sense of invasiveness.

Anyways, there she was, at the shop, handing over the pen drive to the man seated behind the computer.

“Here, take this. It’s in D Drive. The file name is ALECO. I want it in 12 Times Roman” and make sure all chapter headings are in capitals,”.

The spindly boy nodded his friend and inserted the pendrive.

“Excuse me, you’re hurting me,” a voice whispered in her ears.

Startled she’d turned back.

That’s when and how she first met Lokesh.

“Ughh…what?…I…I’m sorry…I…”
