Sunday’s Six Sentence Story Word Prompt!

FOWC with Fandango — Inconspicuous

Asha”s Omerta

By Neel Anil Panicker

Asha lived life by a code; a code which she deemed more sacrosanct that than anything else in the world.

And her world was not your regular run of the mill world that the inconspicuous, inconsequential riffs and raffs of life who made up the socio-economic milleue she came from populated.

Her world was the high stakes movers and shakers of the world, the jet setting, dog eat dog world of multi-million dollar worth businesses and the suited booted cut glass English accented ultra uber achievers who considered the world their oyster and dined and wines in places far removed from the sordid ray infested disease prone sub-inhuman surroundings she was unlucky enough to have been born in.

Now that Asha had crash landed her way into the dense, thick foliage that was the urban materialistic ‘survival of the fittest’ jungle, she wasn’t just about to give up on her new found riches and the unparalleled, unthought of, mind boggling power that her new life entailed.

And in order to survive in the highly materialistic world that had more layers than an onion peels she had to have her world he knew she had to play some dirty games, had to gIve back as hard as she got.

Even if that meant snuffing out a few banal lives.

  2. Man! You always leave on a cliff hanger! Asha sounds like someone you don’t want to mess with.
Scary world she lives in, no doubt – fierce competition, do what you have to do whatever the cost…
Cool image. Suits your Six 🙂
