LOVE’S GOT ITS OWN LANGUAGE
By Neel Anil Panicker

Everyone who knew them, and that includes Preeti’s gang of ‘Three Musketeers’  —Raj, Ananaya, and she—, and in Babua’s case, his three  flatmates, also Professor Banerjee, his mentor, friend, and well wisher,—all wondered how the two got along like a house on fire.

They’re alluding to the couple’s grossly mismatched socio_economic educational background.

She of the propah Jesuit convent groomed variety with slick cut-glass English accent; he, who hailed from the bondooks, the back of beyond poverty ridden India where a lone school in a 50 mile radius was considered a luxury.

To all it was a wonder how they conversed.

Every single word was lost in translation.

Must be love, they concurred.
