At first they thought it was something magical. A moving glazed silhouette, a pearly white apparition on the horizon.

Soon, they began to give it a name. Wheel, box,  frame…so it continued.

“Why does it look like it were twilight”? shrieked Bunny.

“It depends. Could be the afternoon sun’s disappeared”, reasoned the class topper.

Soon, the others too began to wail.

One of them picked up the ball and soon the motley crowd of twelve year olds had formed an arc___all eyes looking upwards, watching the sky turn velvety even as a golden hue carpetted  the clouds.

“I guess it’ll will rain now”, said one.

Rahul, the red jacketed guy who wore a silver grey cap that had a pentagrammed star on its peak, and who lorded over the others by a good four inches rebuked them all, ‘Snap it, ye stupids! What you’ve seen is not something eerie or mumbo jumbo. It’s simply  automation. It’s a a bait. It’s our PT teacher’s way of informing that the canteen’s open. So, let’s rush and check out what’s special on Sunday Special.’

The kids had left the ground even before the words died out. ‘
