HEARTBEATS

She’s more than a best friend.
She’s also more than her stupid black button hole sized eyeball balls that come alive in a face that’s smaller than her neck, whose thick browny wavy hairs leave behind the softness of silken touches long after you have caressed them to your heart’s desire after another day of mundaneity.
She’s my life’s love__someone who loves me to death as she swings her largish tail in a grand swing along helicopter blade movement, ever eager to please and humour me as both of us drop down on our knees and lick one another silly.
