‘Tell me what, Priya? Why’re you screaming? Your body is shivering, your fingers have gone wet? What’s the matter with you, Priya?’
She opened her eyes to say something.
This time the words eluded her as if her vocal cords had gone mute.
She blinked, rubbed her eyes furiously.
Even dug her long nails deep into her skin.
Cipher. Nothing changed.
The silhouette by the bed remained the same.
Finally, she screamed out madly, ‘But I had killed you last night?’
