SAY HI TO THE MOST POWERFUL ‘THING’ ON PLANET
(SATIRE )
By Neel Anil Panicker
‘Dad, what’s T Rex? Is he a guy, or a horse, or a monster, perhaps? In school, all…Alex, Jenny, Pam, even Eddie___they tell me he’s the most powerful thing on this planet? Is that true, Dad?’
Richard looked amusedly at his five year old before replying, “My son, what you heard is absolutely true. You see this man, and let’s call him that for want of a better word is the most powerful creature to walk this earth. His full name is Tyrannosaurus Rex. He is a one man, or more appropriately, one creature army. He’s the ruler of this earth.
He is the lead actor, producer and director of life’s movie; we, being mere spectators in his Jurassic Park.”
‘He sounds fascinating, though a wee bit scary. Do we need to fear him, Dad?’
“Well that depends, son. He’s known to not take kindly to any opposition and never spares anyone who crosses his path.
One just needs to look at the fate of his herbivorous cousins Edmontosaurus and Triceratops to know what I am alluding to”.
‘Dad, I’m really scared now?’
“You don’t have to be You are not a girl who wears skirts, either long or short”.

The person you allude to, Neel, is much more dangerous than any dinosaur. Clever piece, sir.

A clever analogy. But I believe all should be afraid, no matter your gender.

Great allegorical tale, but as Susan said, gender and clothes are immaterial.
