three line tales week 86: a small boy reading a book

By Neel Anil Panicker

Sir, What you are looking at is the reaction of a young participant on stage, captured on a high resolution I Phone camera phone, at 10:32:48, the exact time down to the very last seconds, on the morning of Tuesday last at The Shanmukhananda  Hall in Mumbai during the Annual Children’s Story Reading Competition.

Sir, have a look at his reaction? Midway through his reading, the boy suddenly stopped, looked towards the middle of the stage and witnessed something__the camera capturing the utterly

shell shocked expression on his utterly frightened face.

Sir, my guess is that this six-year-old young child is the sole witness to the murder of the celebrated movie star Ravi Sood, who as our forensics team has confirmed, was shot dead by a single gun shot wound to the temple fired by a semi automatic silencer Smith & Wesson pistol while watching among a hundred other distinguished guests a live performance of the Annual Children’s Story Reading Competition.

  1. Could this be our good inspector back again? Of course, now I want to know how the murder happened with only one witness! Lovely stuff

    1. Yes, this is one case Inspector Sharma would love to solve. I shall update you on the progress of the case. Thanks Lynn for the appreciation.
