Hosted by Bikurlgurl at

By Neel Anil Panicker

There he is, head straight, shoulders erect, legs parted, draped in olive green body suit, a bullet proof jacket wrapped his six foot frame taking over a third of his entire body weight.

He gazes at the rooftop building opposite the street; his fingers on the trigger of his Insas rifle.

His superior’s words act as a tonic: “Pride and honour is what a soldier fights for”.
