‘Damn’t’, Tom cursed.

Hoping to beat the crowd, the 16-year old had arrived a good three hours before.

An hour more of standing in the serpentine queue; his fate was sealed.

The counter screamed the ‘SOLD OUT’ board.

‘NO TICKETS FOR MY FAVE ARIANA GRANDE SHOW,’ he shrieked out.

It was then that he heard it.

First a small pop sound, then a massive cracker blast…

He turned around: the foyer was a blazing inferno.

Madness prevailed thereafter.

Amidst wild cries, someone shouted, ‘blast…suicide…’

People began to run helter skelter.

For once Tom was glad the tickets were sold out.

  1. What a horrific tragedy this week in Manchester 😦 There are so many perspectives and stories of tragedy the events touched…even those of us who were not directly related are affected to band together in peace, hope, and love ❤ Thank you for joining us again this week.
