Welcome to Week 67 of Three Line Tales.

Three Line Tales, Week 67

By Neel Anil Panicker

A mere 100 feet from the garishly decked up 40,000 watt psychedelic stage, the near maddened crowd erupts in wild raptures as the band known simply as Death Knell belts out an eardrum splitting, bone crunching 125 decibels of pulsating rock music.

Sam, lead singer-cum-guitarist, the reigning heartthrob of chewing gum chomping, navel pierced, panty flaunting teeny boppers, dances his fingers across the twelve  string Spanish guitar making love to the audiences, as he, in that velvety voice of his croons “Baby, tonight you are my love”.

His ears strain over; pity he doesn’t hear their responses; he never will.
