THE REJOINDER
By Neel Anil Panicker (100 words)
Oh! Karishma, my dear baby, my one and only child, so full of sweetness and innocence, why don’t you open your eyes and see that this good for nothing fellow who you insist on marrying is nothing but a gold digger, one eyeing the enormous wealth that will be yours after my death?
‘Dear Daddy, if that were so the case, I would not have fallen so madly in love with him’.
‘And more importantly, I see a distinct spark in him that tells me that one day he will make his own money, much more than you’ve ever inherited.’
