When dreams fade away

When you came it was if
a shower of dreams
that had come true
how wondrously the stars had turned blue
and my eyes glowed at the sight of you
and then when you left
you left me so bereft
my morrows filled with nothing but sorrows
dreams of happiness changed into reams of sadness
how quickly did love fade away
how quickly did all the joy wade away.
