CHECKMATE
By Neel Anil Panicker
“You wanna play chess?”
“Sorry?”
“Come with me”
Bob dutifully followed her.
“Meet Ashu, my boy. Beaten them all. You will be the fiftieth… that’s if you agree.”
Her words; he detected a subtle challenge.
And something more, too.
He looked up. Two pairs of experienced eyes scanned one another.
‘Hair- lustrous, deep black, exactly like he liked; lips – red and luscious, __just what the doctor ordered; and boobs_ full and bouncier than an inflated space balloon.
“Yep, ‘am ready,” adding, “remember, winner takes all”.
“Sure”.
“Then let’s play”
There was nothing to lose.
It was a win-win situation.
